If you attended Archmere Academy, you are already part of the Alumni Association. As an Archmere alum, you are the school’s living history – you carry the traditions and heritage that make Archmere unique with you. You came here to learn and grow as a young adult, receive an immeasurable education, and prepare yourself for college. 
 
Your insight is key to continuing the momentum of an active alumni program, which will offer alumni networking and social opportunities that will contribute to a stronger and more spirited Archmere community.

    Maryanne Grisz '78 Named President and CEO for Fashion Group International

    Fashion Group International has appointed Maryanne Grisz as its new president and chief executive officer. 

    “I am honored to be working with Chairman James D’Adamo, a collaborative Board of Directors, all leaders in their industries and our amazing New York office team to start this journey and transition to a new era,” Grisz said in a letter to FGI members. “Be assured, I am listening to your input in service to the organization and hope to meet each of you as we grow.”

    Art & Design Department Chair Stephanie Silverman ’00 Appointed to NAEA Steering Committee, Featured National Panelist

    Archmere Art & Design Department Chair Mrs. Stephanie Silverman ’00 was recently invited by the National Art Education Association President, Mario Rossero, to serve on a Steering Committee for the organization to support the national membership and identify opportunities for organizational growth and change. Mrs. Silverman is one of four invited panelists for a special session titled, Art and Design Educators: Change Agents in Redesigning Education, at the forthcoming April 2024 NAEA Convention in Minneapolis, MN.

  • Jeff Finocchiaro ’92 Hosts AI Lunch and Learn

    Archmere has taken the Lunch and Learn business model and applied it to our educational initiatives, offering sessions that students can voluntarily attend and enjoy a free meal, all while learning about issues and topics that fall outside of their typical classroom day. Guest speakers are often Archmere community members or alumni. On November 17th, Jeff Finocchiaro ’92 returned to campus to lead an interactive Lunch & Learn with 17 current Archmere students. Held in the Patio Music Room, Jeff spoke to the group about Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on how AI is "changing the world and shaping the future".

  • Stuart Zimble '84

    Stuart Zimble '84 Working for World Health Organization

    Stuart recently spent two years in Ukraine working with the World Health Organization's emergency response team. The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health. He began as the Operations Support & Logistics unit lead supporting WHO and the Ministry of Health for the COVID response in 2021. Subsequently, he was present in Kyiv during the Russian invasion in February of 2022, after which he worked supporting WHO Country Office, health facilities, and other partners to solve health logistics issues during the war.
